Acute Care
Acute Care is a limited benefit health insurance policy from American Progressive that is designed to help cover the expenses
incurred during recovery from an acute illness, surgery and/or injury.
With this policy, you have the option to receive care in a nursing
home, assisted living facility, adult congregate facility or residential
care facility.
An Acute Care Insurance policy from American Progressive
can help offset unexpected expenses, allowing you to resume your
life as normal.
Product Features At A Glance:
- Helps cover the cost of assistance with eating, bathing, dressing,
etc., when you need help due to an injury, acute illness or surgery.
- Gives you a choice of living arrangements. A home health care
rider is available in many states.
- Maximum daily benefit of $50 to $250 per day, in $10 increments.
- Benefit periods of 90, 180, 270 or 360 days, subject to state
availability.
- Elimination periods of 0 or 20 days.
- Choice of riders, including 5 percent simple inflation protection
and home health care, subject to state availability.
- Issue ages 40-75.
